This soft pad is used to create a smooth, even surface around the waist, making it easier to wrap and secure the Kimono and Obi (decorative sash).

After putting on the undergarments and Juban, the soft pad is typically placed around the waist or underbust area, depending on the individual’s body shape and the desired Kimono style.
