This tea is a high-quality Japanese-certified organic Stem Houjicha made by carefully roasting the sencha stems.

This tea is popular for its rich aroma endowed by a slow roast method using gravel roaster.

Region: Uji, Kyoto Prefecture

To make hot tea:

  • Tea: 2 tbsp
  • Water: 300 mL at 100 °C
  • Steep: 30 sec 

To make cold-brewed tea:

  • Tea: 2 tbsp
  • Water: 500 mL at room temperature
  • Steep: 2 hours to overnight in the fridge
