This tea is made primarily from bancha, produced using mature tea leaves and stems that are harvested and aged for over three years. It is carefully blended and roasted with a selection of traditional wild herbs—loquat leaf, kumazasa (bamboo grass), mulberry leaf, dokudami, and eucommia leaf—to create a smooth, well-balanced, and easy-to-drink tea.
Gentle and comforting, this blend is ideal for daily enjoyment.
We have been committed to pesticide-free tea cultivation since 1983. For many years, we have grown tea using no pesticides at all, relying only on organic fertilizers. In 2001, we proudly received JAS Organic Certification.
Thanks to this dedication, our tea-making was highly recognized, and in 2002 we were honoured with the Emperor’s Cup at the National Agriculture and Forestry Festival.
Guided by our goal of “creating tea that gives you energy when you drink it,” we will continue to produce safe, wholesome tea with care and sincerity.
[Brewing Instructions]
2g of tea leaves to 300 ml of boiling water. Steep for about 3 minute.
*Store in a cool, dry place, and avoid exposure to strong odours.
