This magical 'metal' pencil uses a lead made from a mixture of graphite and metal, so, when writing, the friction between the paper and the lead causes graphite and metal particles to stick to the paper, leaving a trace similar to a pencil. The lead has a darkness equivalent to about a 2H pencil.
