The Lucky Charm Tanuki was born in the city of Shigaraki, Japan about 100 years ago.
There are thousands of different sizes and styles of Tanuki all over the city, and you feel that you are very welcomed by them.
The appearance of Tanuki always wears a woven hat, tilts his head, and holds a Sake bottle in his right hand and a passbook in his left hand.
Tanuki is often placed at storefronts to build trusty relationships with customers or in gardens to protect you and your family from misfortune and evils.
