In Japan, a crane is a mystical creature and is believed to live for a thousand years. A turtle is said to live ten thousand years. As a result, in the Japanese culture, they represent good fortune and longevity.
Furoshiki is quite popular for home decor! Use it as a tapestry, table accent, bento or gift wrap, or even to carry a wine or sake bottle.
Cochae is a graphic design group run by Yousuke Jikuhara and Miki Takeda, who aim to produce designs with a playful mind. They also design toys and hold workshops in museums.
